We examine the Hollie Greig case, where a Down’s syndrome girl was allegedly abused by a high-ranking pedophile ring for years, and how it spread through the alternative media without people verifying basic facts (like whether the victims were born at the time or whether the accused actually existed). We also talk about the recent allegations of child abuse in Hampstead, and what these stories tell us about how the alt media functions and how we can improve our own open source investigation into these topics.
