- We first reported about the plans for secret UK courts in WideShut documentary 7/7 What Did They Know?. The initial proposal as announced by William Hague was to essentially give the British Intelligence agencies impunity from public scrutiny, by having intelligence evidence heard behind closed doors. In the case of the London Bombings this may have allowed important failures and the dubious actions of MI5 and MI6 to be overlooked, potentially keeping facts such as the surveillance of two of the alleged bombers prior to the attacks hidden from the public.

Although the media have hyped some slight backtracking and “tweaking” of the bill, it still allows “the government to throw a cloak of secrecy over wrongdoing, including the alleged involvement by UK officials in rendition, secret detention and torture”, says Amnesty International [1].

Now instead of blanket secrecy, a judge must first agree that disclosure of the information “would be damaging to the interests of national security”, which is completely subjective and open to abuse.

- No two family names have sparked controversy and intrigue like the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, two dynasties that dominated the rise of finance and industry. Led by aging David, today the Rockefellers sit in the limelight as puppeteers behind some of the most influential NGOs and Think Tanks. The Rothschilds led by Jacob, choose to sit on their wealth in the shadows (unless Nat Rothschild isn’t having another yacht party). But today the two empires join forces once again.

As reported by Reuters:

Rothschild’s London-listed RIT Capital Partners (RCP.L) said on Wednesday it was buying the 37 percent stake from French group Societe Generale’s (SOGN.PA) private banking arm for an undisclosed sum.

The transatlantic union brings together David Rockefeller, 96, and Jacob Rothschild, 76 – two family patriarchs whose personal relationship spans five decades.

The Rothschild family has worked on some epochal deals during its history, such as helping finance Britain’s war against Napoleon in the 19th century and raising funds for a loan allowing the British government to buy the Suez canal.

Of course lets conveniently forget the insider trading that allowed Rothschild to buy up the London stock market when he lied about Napoleon winning the war.

- According to an article in the Guardian, despite supposedly being on the opposite sides of political ideology, war criminal Tony Blair and current Prime Minister David Cameron have forged a “special relationship”.

The former New Labour prime minister has visited Chequers and has spoken to the Conservative prime minister at least seven times since Cameron took office.

Blair visited Cameron’s country residence last July, the same month as the phone-hacking scandal erupted, according to the Daily Mail. Talks between Cameron and Blair, who is special envoy for the Quartet on the Middle East (the UN, US, EU and Russia) is believed to have widened to include other subjects, such as public service reform and Whitehall. They are also believed to have discussed the euro crisis and the economy.

A “senior source” told the Daily Mail that Blair, who served as premier for a decade before standing down two years into the Labour government’s third term, has also been advising Cameron on how to cope with the gruelling task of bring prime minister.

This just goes to show how out of touch Cameron is. We all know politics is a farce and the 3 main parties all agree on the major issues and are all war-mongering scumbags, but Cameron doesn’t even recognize that associating with Blair is perhaps the worst PR move he could make. That or they’re so arrogant, they really don’t care!
