The web of corruption at the top of the Scottish establishment is unwinding day by day as more victims come forward to tell their story of abuse and injustice. Brave Hollie Greig has now started a snowball effect that will deliver a serious blow to the pyramid control system.

Following on from the Liz Docherty story, our latest investigation sheds some more light on the Grampian police, who are not only complicit in the Hollie Greig cover-up (having never opened a real investigation) but are also physically involved, as officer Terry Major was named as one of Hollie’s abusers.

Today we tell the story of David Emslie, a 63 year old homeless man that has been the victim of abuse and negligence by the police, Scottish Government and a corrupt Housing Association that went to great lengths to have him evicted. Much like the Liz Docherty case, the establishment simply want him to go away, but David has years of damning evidence and will not go away until justice is served.

“I have over 17 years of dealing with Grampian Police”, David said during our email correspondence. It appears 17 years of police negligence, almost to the point where you question if they WANT a damaged society.

Being an upstanding member of the public, David has been consistent in gathering information on the corruption and failure of the Grampian police and has been mentioned in several newspaper articles along the way.

In one such article which you can read below, David discusses the failure of the Anti-Social Behavior Order (ASBO) system in his area.

No matter what the crime, the police simply refuse to do their duty and respond. When complaining got him nowhere, he went to the papers.

In a response to a complaint by David, who saw a disqualified and possibly drunk driver being let off by police, the complaints department said “I am satisfied with the information available to me that the officers who attended took the appropriate course of action”. That makes it OK then?

“I made a complaint over the telephone one day and the Police came out, looked at the car which was parked on a public road, but did nothing about it, he just kept on driving around with no road tax, he did this for over 18 months, you could do nothing to them, the Police protect them all the time.”

Because of the exposure David’s bringing the system, he is now virtually on the run and fears for his life.

“I am in poor health, and moving around in hiding, from the State and the Police, I have threats on my life since being homeless, I have been chased in my car by criminals and I can do nothing about it, as the Police stopped responding to my calls for assistance in December 2007; they will not even record crimes against me.”

In fact he has been apologized to publicly in the article below, but the problem never corrected itself.

“From 1994 to 2008 I made over 600 telephone calls to the Police about crime in the area, that was drug dealing, theft of cars, house breaking, vandalism, threats to kill my neighbours, petrol bomb our flats, attempts to break into my flat and kill me, I have been attacked and injured, I received £8200.00. from the criminal compensation board for my injuries. attempts to run me down in the street. Threatening Phone calls, reported to BT nuisance calls unit, calls traced by BT to the address I suspected it was, Police charged him, but the Procurator Fiscal refused to prosecute him, BT advised me that this was very unusual as they had traced the calls. In Aberdeen anything to do with the Police, Procurator Fiscal and Aberdeen Sheriff Court is not unusual.”

However this is far from a one man issue; David is not the only one at odds with the system in the Grampian region. Over the last few years local residents have lost all faith in the people tasked to protect them and uphold the law.

Out of 1,297 residents polled, 55% did not have faith in the police preventing people breaking the law, and 43% said they did not have faith in their ability to solve crime that had been committed. This coincides with reports that violent crime is increasing and arrest rates are falling.

It’s not just hard figures that show people’s distrust of the Grampian police and the Government, it’s their blatantly unethical and often corrupt approach. As reported by the Digger in January of this year, MSP’s have openly admitted that police informers are allowed to get away with murder if they agree to dish some dirt on other criminals. One has to wonder what is more important to the general public’s safety than locking up a murderer? Especially when there are over 50 unsolved murders in the area.

Other issues that concern David and local residents are the bizarre actions of their politicians. Alex Salmond for one, claimed it was his duty to lobby for the protection of an illegal immigrant wanted on drugs charges. He called for Mr. Zheng to be allowed to stay in Britain, when under the current system he should have been sent home over ten years ago. The burden from immigration on the country is a major issue, so it seems illogical that politicians like Mr. Salmond would champion the cause of a criminal that by law shouldn’t even be here. Unless disruption of British society is on the agenda.

In the same vein, 2009 saw Baroness Scotland’s housekeeper exposed as an illegal immigrant. This is a Government that says all small employers should be prosecuted if they don’t know the immigration status of their employees and yet we have senior ministers who can’t be bothered to make the checks themselves.

Unfortunately stories and statistics like those mentioned above can be mirrored throughout the UK, but it’s David’s personal story of corruption from the Scottish establishment and those from Hollie Greig and the Dochertys that give us a rare glimpse further down the rabbit hole; showing us the complete system failure of our modern society.

In November 2009 Justice Secretary MacAskill failed to release a report documenting one of the leaders of a Scottish Pedophile ring….It was later revealed that he did not even read the report and fobbed it off, saying it wasn’t his to release. As we’ve seen, covering up pedophilia is all in a days work for these guys.

David says, “I believe this was one of the Paedophiles that abused Hollie, and that the Social Workers were Sheriff Buchanan’s relatives!”

For over 25 years David has been fighting Grampian Housing Association over illegal VAT and rent increases. In fact he won several court cases against them between 1994 and 1997. Although as David explains, winning isn’t everything.
“My flat had a water leak in the loft from December 1994 to March 1998, Grampian Housing Association refused to fix the problem, when it rained I had to go up into my loft and empty buckets, if it rained during the night I had to put on my clock alarm to waken me up during the night, to go up and empty buckets, as if I did not they would overflow. This I had to do for just over three years. I got a 24 page report from an Investigation the Housing Association Ombudsman did on my case, he found GHA guilty of numerous counts of Maladministration and administrative errors in its failure to rectify the water leaks in my roof. I was awarded £850-00. in compensation by him, but GHA refused to pay me the money.”

Because of these mini-victories (7 in total) David is considered a thorn in the side of the elite, so both the GHA and Grampian police joined forces to get rid of him. “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” And they can’t be having any revolutionaries standing up for the people.

“I was winning against the Police, the Court cases I was winning against the Housing Association, I was exposing how they all protect each other, how they deny you the access to the help that will expose the corruption and criminality they are involved in.”

“In Scotland we have 261 Housing Associations funded by taxpayers money, and most of the are incompetent and corrupt, the largest ones in Glasgow are just like GHA, treat tenants with contempt, and anyone like me who is a whistle blower get targeted, one tenant killed, another one forced to flee the building by corrupt Housing Associations. They like housing criminals, junkies, alcoholcs, as they get Housing Benefit for them, and they do not complain, GHA got almost £700.000.00. in Housing Benefit one year, this I got under the freedom of Information request from the Housing Benefit Office.”

In a deliberate attempt to silence and remove him, GHA began filling his building with known criminals…and in 2007 they began steps to have him evicted with help by the police, who canvased the area with leaflets asking people if they had any complaints about David. Ironic considering David has complained many times about some of these same neighbors and nothing has ever been done.

“These criminals in my building did not work, they were claiming Housing Benefit, got unemployment benefit, were working part time, and committing crimes, they had cars that had no road tax licences on them, I contacted the Police about this, also crime stoppers, they would do nothing about this.”

Since 1991, David claims there have been 27 attempts on his life by legit criminals ignored by the police and those working above the law as police informants. Because of this he installed a CCTV system in his building. One shocking image provided by David quite clearly shows a man with a knife late at night outside his door. “I had CCTV evidence, but the Police would do nothing about the problems.”


“In 1995 I had an attempt to kill me, Police caught a criminal trying to make an attack on me with a 14′ carving knife, he was kept in Custody from the Saturday night until the Monday morning when he appeared in Court, he was advised by the Sheriff not to live at the address which was the next flat to mine on the second floor of the building. He came back and lived in his flat, the Police and the Procurator Fiscal (IN ENGLAND IT IS THE CPS) would do nothing about this, I wrote to the Sheriff about this, he got the Sheriff Clerk to write to the Procurator Fiscal about this, the Procurator Fiscal refused to do anything about this, nothing ever happened to him about that incident.”

Of course most of the time when calling the police they arrogantly tell him that “there are no units available in your area”.

After all sorts of underhanded tactics Grampian Housing Association officially (although illegally) evicted David in August of 2008. Despite being eligible for legal aid the corrupt system prevented him from obtaining it.

“Over the last 15 years they have cut the money for Civil Legal Aid, so more and more Solicitors refuse to do Civil Legal Aid; they say it does not pay enough. This is a deliberate Policy, if you had more Civil Legal Aid, people could take cases against those perpetrating the crime, Just like I could have taken a case against my Landlord this Housing Association that was breaking the Law with its illegal and criminal activities, but no Solicitor would help me do that, nor would the Police or the Government act to stop the fraud.”

It seems the inability to get legal aid is a big problem in Scotland. David continues, “The Faculty of Advocates in Edinburgh has a Free Representation Unit, this is for helping people that cannot get representation because they have no money, cannot get Legal Aid for the case, cannot get a Solicitor, they have put this unit in place, many years ago the Faculty detailed all the High Flying Advocates that were going to help those that had no access to Legal Services, they tried to be champions of the underdog, it was a sham, they would not help me.”

“I have a friend that has had his Downs Syndrome daughter stolen by Police and Social Workers almost 10 years ago, he has been fighting for years to find her, he has no Legal Aid, is unable to work due to ill health, has been fighting this all that time, in and out of Court trying to find his Daughter. MPs including Alex Salmond know about this, and again nobody will do anything about it. This is appalling.”

The Dean of Advocates ended up resigning after David’s complaints:

Out of 100 lawyers, not one would take on his eviction case and he had to fight the system by himself. This was nothing knew, he’d won many times before, but his illnesses were becoming more severe this time around…and they were determined to get rid of him.

Despite having a doctor’s letter saying he was unfit to conduct his own defense and a GP’s request to postpone the hearing, the authorities went ahead with a pre-trial without David even present. He was informed that they’d give him a trial date on the 6th of August, 2008.

What David really received on August 6th wasn’t a letter updating him on the process; instead while one of his kinder neighbors was helping him to do the shopping, 12 thugs from the GHA invaded his house and proceeded to evict him!

So they went ahead and held the hearing without his knowledge and without him present, and then they gave him a rare “decree with immediate extract”, meaning instead of following normal procedure, which gives tenants 2 weeks to appeal and arrange other accommodation, they can evict them on the same day, which is what happened to David.

While still out food shopping, oblivious as to what was taking place, another respectable neighbor phoned his mobile to tell him that with supervision by several police officers his door was boarded up and it was no longer his home. Strange that police would be out for this corporate financial matter and not any of the other serious crimes reported by residents!

As explained by one of his friends, “As he was now locked out of his flat, David was forced to go to his GP to obtain emergency medication. Confused, weak and utterly demoralized, he drove to the beach a fell asleep. Too exhausted to do anything else he spent the night in his car.

David went to court the next day to try and find out what had happened. However he was so unwell that he collapsed and an ambulance had to be called!”

Having lost his home, the authorities ensured that he also lost all of his property. At numerous times following his eviction; police, thugs and removal vans were spotted stealing his belongings or simply destroying them on site. In total David estimates this pillaging at around 30 grand. On one occasion neighbors report seeing a policeman with a dog also searching the communal loft areas, which is illegal without warrants. Grampian police have since claimed they no longer have the warrants on file!

When he asked the Judge on the 21st whether he could take out an interdict to prevent further destruction of his personal property inside the flat, he was told he’d need to go to the Court of Session; yet more legal hassle. However in the meantime Grampian police were securing more “warrants” to continue searching his flat and loft. Numerous personal items, including a handmade television cabinet were smashed to smithereens.

“The Scottish Court Services do not have a copy of the Warrant that they issued to the Police, yet the Court has a record in a book that a Warrant was issued, but not the Warrant itself, I asked if I could get a copy of the entry about the Warrant, and I was advised that I could not. My MP was to write last year for a copy but will not do so, I have asked he Procurator Fiscal for a copy of the Warrant, and the Crown Office but they refuse to deal with me.”

Because the whole procedure was corrupt, if David obtained adequate legal help (as he was entitled) he could have seriously taken to task the system, thus the constant police searches were likely for the purpose of finding some kind of evidence to support the immediate eviction thrust on David without warning or representation. When nothing was found they decided to frame him as a gun touting madman!

During the evening of the 21st, four plain clothed policemen raided David’s cousin’s house where he was staying, and arrested him for illegal possession of a firearm. No evidence of such a firearm exists, apart from a photo of David holding what is quite clearly a plastic toy. Suffice to say, when all this mess went to court the crown was unable to produce any evidence, not the alleged witness nor the toy gun. David has never even had a criminal record.

What’s more alarming about this blatant stitch-up is that David (visibly ill), was forced to spend 96-hours in a police cell, with a lot of the time spent collapsed on the concrete floor writhing in pain and calling for a doctor. Of course no doctor was contacted. Although one oh so kind officer propped his head up with some scraggy lost property clothing.

If David had died in custody there’s no telling what would have happened. The case of 19 year old Neil Riddel, whose body was found in a field in 1991 might shed some light on their procedure. A post-mortem examination concluded Neil died from a probable overdose of the anti-depressant drug Prothiaden, but the family refuse to accept that he committed suicide and claim to have evidence that he died in police custody and was later moved to the field where he was found.

David explains, “…this lady has two Death Certificates on her son, none of them detail a drug overdose, you will also know that the Uncle of Hollie Greig who died in an alleged car fire, a person that assisted in the Post Mortem has disappeared, as people have been trying to find her, she is a Doctor, and has not been seen for months, Could she also be dead?”

Since his eviction, David has been homeless, relying on friends when he can. He can’t get any housing assistance because GHA have added him to a database of blacklisted names that is used nationally by all kinds of housing groups. And he can’t get treatment for his pet dog.

“I had my dog registered with the PDSA for any veterinary treatment while I was in my flat, but now that I am homeless and am not getting Housing Benefit, or Council Tax rebate, I cannot get treatment for my dog if she requires it.”

Similar to the other cases, despite informing politicians such as Alex Salmond, the First Minister of Scotland and having a lengthy interview, nothing has been done to help rehouse him and bring the criminals to justice. Maybe Mr. Salmond is too busy campaigning for the rights of illegal immigrant criminals?

“I was also on a radio programme with David Cameron last week, he advised me to email him with my problems, but he has not responded to me either.”

In a letter response from the Sheriff Principal, who shows no concern whatsoever for David’s case he writes, “I’m sure you will understand that it would be wrong for me to offer you legal advice.”

David has written many letters over the years, but as is the case with corrupt modern society, he has been passed around from person to person, and from department to department, with nobody willing to take responsibility and actually go through his story. The Sheriff Principal’s response is a cookie cutter of many others.

Taking his complaints to the Lord Chief Justice, his department responded, “Unfortunately the Lord Chief Justice cannot investigate complaints against the police…”

Who can? It seems nobody.

“The Solicitor that I got in Glasgow in March last year, said he would help me, he has now written to me and stated he can do nothing for me, they are closing ranks again, just as they do to hundreds of people in Scotland that have had property, businesses and children stolen, you can do nothing about it, none of those who are responsible for upholding and enforcing the laws of the land refuse to act in the Public Interest.”

As we’ve seen, and will no doubt continue to see, David’s story is not an isolated incident. Many people are falling victim to the corrupt Grampian police force and the web of failing governmental departments that make up the Scottish and entire UK establishment. Thanks to David’s persistence the truth is finally getting out there and with help from independent media and activists we can continue putting the pieces of the puzzle back together.

“The Police need criminals on the street committing crime to keep them in jobs, the Procurator Fiscal need criminals committing crime to keep them in jobs, the Courts need criminals to keep them in jobs, they let them back on the streets committing further crimes to keep them in jobs. The Criminal Lawyers in Scotland get Criminal Legal Aid to represent criminals, last I heard it cost Scotland £169. million pounds a year in criminal Legal Aid. All that money goes to Solicitors and Advocates (Barristers English term)
to represent these crooks.”

“This is the letter I sent to Alex Salmond after my one hour sixteen minute recording meeting with him, it was sent recorded delivery to his Peterhead Office, with a copy to his Edinburgh Office, and one to his London Office, all received, but he refuses to reply to any of them.”

“This is a Civil Interdict I had to take against a criminal in the building that was continually threatening to kill me, coming up to my door during the night continually threatening me. I got my Insurance company under my Legal Expenses cover to pay for this for me, it made no difference, he just kept threatening me. I installed a CCTV camera outside my front door and caught him threatening me, he was charged by the Police, one of the few times they did anything, but he was let of with it by the Court, another time I had witnesses and he was charged with threatening to kill me, he pleaded guilty, but nothing happened to him. I then wanted to take a criminal prosecution against him for a breach of the Interdict I had against him, but in Scotland you are not allowed to take a criminal case against anyone unless the Procurator Fiscal gives his/her permission. I wrote to the Procurator Fiscal for permission to do this, this permission was refused. You can do nothing to these criminals the State Protect them, he continued to harass and threaten me in spite of the interdict, he continued to harass me and threaten me, I had CCTV evidence, but the Police would do nothing about the problems.”

“This is a copy of a Petition I had put into the Scottish Parliament before the Petitions Committee, you will see on page 1555 marked with X, what they said about my Petition, and what Mike Watson said. I was not allowed to give evidence to the Committee, even with Brian Adam stating that we will consider taking evidence from me, you will also see that the Petitions Committee wrote to the Scottish Executive about my Petition, you will see at the top of the page. AZ70 GH3, what they said about me. I WAS UP TO MY TRICKS AGAIN, EXPOSING FRAUD AND CORRUPTION IN SCOTLAND IS A TRICK. This Petition just disappeared down a black hole, the Scottish Executive managed to sabotage it.”

“Here’s a copy of a copy of my appeal I did against GHA taking away my Housing Benefit away from me getting it direct, to GHA getting it direct, I can explain this to you better on the telephone, it is a complicated fraud GHA were doing. T his is the appeal that the Faculty of Advocates would not help me with, the picture of the Dean in the papers. It took me months to prepare the paperwork for this appeal, it had over 600 pages, and I had to prepare 4 lots of this paperwork, all at my own expense. You will see ITEM TB9 was the Councils response to its investigations, but refused to believe me that I had no rent arrears, so I had to go to the Tribunal. You will see the Tribunals Decision AZ 67.2.3.4. But GHA still continued its fraud on me and hundreds of other tenants.”

“This is a letter from the Faculty of advocates, my MSP sent all the information to him, but have not heard from him, my MSP will not push the matter, as you see they have asked me to be referred to them by one of the various accredited agencies, including the Citizens Advice Scotland, none of the agencies will refer my case to the Faculty, they are all funded by government money so will not help me expose the corruption and criminality I have evidence about, The Police, Procurator Fiscal, including Elish Angiolini who was the Procurator Fiscal in Aberdeen at the same time Hollie Greig case was in front of her, I have letters from her when she stated she was not in Aberdeen at the time. I have contacted her again in Edinburgh and she refuses to reply to me also.

You will also see the item about people not being able to get Legal Representation, and her recommendations to the Scottish Government, They did nothing about the problem.”

“The issue again being asked in the Scottish Parliament on my behalf by an MSP, again nothing positive being done about the problem, even if everyone in the country was eligible for Legal Aid, and got it, you cannot get a Solicitor to take your case, if it is anything that is exposing any government department, is regulated by government, or is being funded by government, Solicitors will not help you, because again a conflict of interest, the government is giving them the Legal Aid, and Solicitors will not in most cases BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM.”

“This was the appeal against my illegal eviction. The last page in this. PAGE 5 IS THE IMPORTANT PAGE. You will see the Sheriff Principle has said he is not an expert in these matters (HE IS JUST A LIAR) he was a Solicitor before becoming a Sheriff, then the Sheriff Principle, he is a member of the Law Society, and knows how legal Aid works, as does all Solicitors, as you will see, this was sent to the Law Society of Scotland, and the Scottish Legal Aid Board, they did nothing, when I contacted them they stated to me that they could do nothing. Rubbish. They were not prepared to do anything. hundreds of people in Scotland with the same problem. So if someone wants to fabricate anything against you, say a Bank and they say you are in arrears with your mortgage, which may be a lie, no Solicitor will help you with this, the Solicitors lie, the Sheriff lie, and they just steal your home, this is well documented in Scotland, if the Bank or Building Society says that you are due them for example £5000.00. and it is all lies. Your Home is worth £100.000.00. you have a £20.000.00. mortgage, and an alleged £5000.00. arrears. They repossess your house, they will not give you the £75.000.00 equity back, they take the £25.000.00. you allegedly owe them, fabricate a lot of costs, lots of interest, come up with a figure of say £60.000.00. you are due them, all rubbish, they then sell the house for £60.000.00. to a friend, he sits in the house for perhaps one or two years, sells the house for £140.000.00. if it is not in a housing recession, then they split the money with all that is involved in the fraud, it is that easy.”

“This was sent by GHA to the Housing Benefit Office, you will see that they say that I have applied to buy my flat under the right to buy, which was correct, my flat was valued at just over £40.000.00. I got 75% discount on it, so that I had to pay just £10.000.00. for it, I had got a three year low interest mortgage at that time, the payments were just £39.00. per month so I could manage that out of my State Benefit. The reason the case had become protracted was because GHA would not cooperate with the Lands Tribunal Court, and it took me over 5 years to go through the court, as they tried to stop me buying my flat, but I won in the end, but then they would not sell me my flat, and I could not get a Solicitor to help me take it back to Court again and get an enforcement notice on them. So I should not have been homeless as I should have owned my flat.”

“This is a copy of a letter the Rent Officer wrote to GHA in 2004, he also sent a list of the properties GHA had illegally increased rents again for, this was in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. This had been going on since 1983, and is still going on, nobody is interested. Because the Housing Associations are plundering Housing Benefit, further taxpayers money.”
