Media Continue To Fear Monger Over Iran’s Nuclear Enrichment Program

News that Iran plans to increase their nuclear enrichment program from 5% to 20% has been doing the rounds in the British press today. A particularly revealing slant came from the BBC’s 1pm updates where the narrator stated “Iran has no concrete plans to make a bomb”.

The fact is Iran has no plans to create a bomb whatsoever, and if in fact there is a plan to do so, then the BBC should show some evidence that this is the case instead of speculating.

A common tactic by the mainstream media is to use no news as news. “Iran has no concrete plans to make a bomb”. One has to ask…why the hell report it then? We don’t see news reports stating “Gordon Brown has no plans to have an affair today” or “at this time there are no plans to rename England Sheep Island.” Of course there isn’t!

The very fact that they ARE reporting this non-story actually creates a mass perception that there IS in fact a plan by Iran to make a nuclear weapon. This is the point. It’s a clever way of filtering “Iran” “Nuclear Threat” in to the mainstream consciousness, so that if the western elite from Britain, America and Israel do decide to invade the country, the public will be raring to go. The irony is that we’re in the middle of an inquiry about the illegal war in Iraq, and the very same deceptive news reporting is going on with Iran.

There are some important facts to make here:

- 20% Enrichment of Uranium is incapable of producing a nuclear weapon AND is not against UN agreements. Britain could do the exact same thing tomorrow. In fact 90% is needed for a nuclear weapon!

- Iran has time and time again publicly stated there is no intention for war or nuclear weaponry. So they might be lying, but as the Iraq war inquiry has taught us, go find the evidence first!

- Iran has publicly agreed to inspections and they have announced their various enrichment programs within the designated time period.

As Former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter told Democracy Now last year, it is nothing more than “politically motivated hype”.

One of the many possible motivations for targeting Iran is to shut down its central bank, which is not yet in the private hands of the world’s banking elite. A Reuters report states:

Several diplomats told Reuters the Western powers would like to target Iran’s central bank, which they said was a key player in financing Tehran’s nuclear and missile industries and in skirting UN sanctions.

It was not clear which other banks would be targeted. One diplomat said they were looking at Iran’s five biggest banks.

Two previous sanctions resolutions passed in March 2007 and March 2008 blacklisted Iran’s Bank Sepah and urged countries to “exercise vigilance” over the activities of all Iranian financial institutions, above all Bank Melli and Bank Saderat.

This precious “globalization” that has destroyed many other countries around the world is now targeting Iran. It appears they want the country to fall in line with the New World Order agenda. It’s starting with unjust sanctions, deceptive reporting and ludicrous accusations, it could quite possibly end in an invasion, an overthrowing of the government and the implementation of a new private central bank, which is at the core of the elite’s control.

What exactly do people expect to happen when the west interferes with another country’s economy?

Iran isn’t perfect, but Iran isn’t our problem and it certainly doesn’t warrant a war.
