British Press that are still on the climate change gravy train are having a field day today, reporting that the recent £56 million Euromillions lottery winners have purchased a £4 million Eco-House with their winnings.
As reported in the Telegraph, …the mansion, just outside the village of Barnsley, Gloucestershire [features] humidity of the Sahara desert, a garden that stores heat from the sun, and is now almost completely carbon neutral, running on just 10 per cent of the energy a normal household needs.
There is a lot of buzz recently about eco-homes and sustainable living (neither inherently bad), but one has to wonder whether we might actually be forced to grow our own food if plans for carbon taxes and the like go ahead and displace our wealth.
