Share Bin Laden In Iran? Get Real

Why the story that Bin Laden is in Iran is absolutely ludicrous. What’s the real agenda here?

As if the antagonistic offensive against Iran wasn’t obvious enough, the mainstream news media are now peddling the ludicrous idea that Osama Bin Laden is hiding in Iran and is being protected by the Revolutionary Guard, with full knowledge of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

This notion is almost as weak as when Bush tried to link Bin Laden to Saddam Hussein.

There are some very simple facts people need to understand to put this dangerous piece of propaganda to bed.

Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden have completely different political and religious allegiances than to the Iranian majority.

Iran is Shiite Muslim; Bin Laden is a Sunni Muslim. That’s like aligning Jehovah’s Witnesses with regular Christians or Jews. It’s completely illogical.

President Ahmadinejad sat down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos for an interview yesterday, but Stephanopoulos soon made his intentions known by asking the President if Bin Laden was in Iran. Realizing how absurd the question was, the President fired back with humor, and claimed Bin Laden is probably in Washington DC:

Stephanopoulos: If you did know that Osama bin Laden was in Tehran, would you show him hospitality? Would you expel him? Would you arrest him?

Ahmadinejad: I heard that Osama bin Laden is in Washington DC.

Stephanopoulos: No, you didn’t.

Ahmadinejad: Yes, I did. He’s there. Because he was a previous partner of Mr Bush. They were colleagues in fact in the old days. You know that. They were in the oil business together. They worked together. Mr bin Laden never cooperated with Iran but he cooperated with Mr Bush.

Stephanopoulos: But you deny categorically that he’s in Tehran today? He is not, Osama bin Laden is not in Tehran today?

Ahmadinejad: Rest assured that he’s in Washington. I think there’s a high chance he’s there.

Stephanopoulos: I don’t agree. Thank you for your time, Mr President.

The mainstream western media are trying to paint the idea that Ahmadinejad is a joke by saying such things, but the real joke is on Stephanopoulos, who has no basis to make such a stupid statement himself.

I’d argue that Ahmadinejad’s claim is far more realistic than Stephanopoulos’.

I mean who originally trained the Mujahideen and worked with Bin Laden in Afghanistan during the 80s? AMERICA with the blessing of President Jimmy Carter. Who gave support to the Taliban after the Afghan/Soviet war? AMERICA. Who covertly funded the Kosovo Liberation Army of Muslims? AMERICA….Get the idea? The extreme elements of the US government and CIA have had far more contact with Bin Laden over the years than Iran.

In fact in direct attack on Iran it was the US that funded Sunni terrorist group Jundullah.

As reported in the London Telegraph:
“The CIA is giving arms-length support, supplying money and weapons, to an Iranian militant group, Jundullah, which has conducted raids into Iran from bases in Pakistan.”

This was a covert operation under the Bush administration (the same Bush that has had business deals with Bin Laden), which is ongoing under Obama, to destabilize Iran from the inside.

Pick the odd one out:

The 3rd one along just happens to be his 9/11 confession. Lets hope an odd Bin Laden tape doesn’t pop-up in Iran.

People need to understand that the Anglo-American establishment WANT to invade Iran and are doing anything to paint them in a bad light. Whether it’s claiming they have nuclear weapons, antagonizing them with sanctions, walking out of conferences, and this latest trick. Lets just hope president Ahmadinejad keeps his cool and doesn’t give them any rope to hang himself, because both the West and the Middle-East have lost far too many innocent people based on lies.

I heard this ridiculous claim on the radio show Coast to Coast AM here in the US. I turned off the radio. The man being interviewed was supposed to be some kind of “expert.” It just goes to show that you can’t trust the media or “experts.”

If you study the history of Afghanistan, it becomes very obvious that bin Ladin and the Taliban are no friends of the Shi’a or Iran.
